Formerly a Director of Investec Merchant Bank, Peter became one of four founding partners in Insinger de Beaufort Holdings SA, a Luxembourg listed holding company which acquired Bank Insinger de Beaufort NV in The Netherlands in 1988.

 

In May 2003, he led the management buyout of Equity Trust from Insinger, and served as the Chief Executive Officer, until retiring in August 2005.

Peter presently serves in various non-executive management positions and holds a
controlling interest in Safran Homes Limited, a UK housebuilder, and Instadia
Properties SL, a developer of shopping centres in Spain.
