Matthias Belz is the managing director of the Geneva office and the director responsible for the Liechtenstein office within the Equity Trust Group.

Matthias has extensive experience in international finance, trading and administration. He started his career in Hong Kong in 1991. Since then he has worked with a major German conglomerate, a Swiss bank and an international trading company.

Before joining Equity Trust, Matthias was a client of Equity Trust, acting as the chief financial officer for an American group of companies, overlooking and administering all financial and commercial arrangements for 14 companies in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

With a proven record of important achievements in a variety of roles, Matthias is recognised as a skilful and competent business leader.

Apart from the overall management of the Geneva office, Matthias is actively involved with clients and representatives of corporate clients, and seeks and implements strategic alliances on behalf of the group.

He studied Economics at the Justus Liebig University, Giessen, Germany and completed an apprenticeship of  ”Foreign and Whole Trade”.
